I mean honestly. Why? It would be so helpful. I could combine my love of music with my complete and total impatience to know the future. I would always know when scary stuff was going to happen, so then I wouldn't be asusted (startled... spanglish rules) and scream. I could know, as Jack Johnson "Better Together" played in the background, when I was going to meet the boy of my dreams and fall in love. If "Leave the Pieces" began, I would instantly know that he was going to break my heart, so I could be prepared. Guster's "Demons" could play while I was angrily driving away from fighting with someone...you get the picture. I guess what all this comes down to is my lack of patience. I'm the type of person that reads the last page of the book half way through just to find out if the two main characters end up together (The Twilight series just about killed me...yes, of course I read the last chapter before I'd gotten half way through the book, do you even have to ask?). I've never been one for big surprises. In many ways I like to be able to predict things, I need a sixth sense or something. Too bad that's not a talent you can develop, like playing an instrument or something like that.
I guess what it all comes down to is that the future is uncertain for everyone. It all depends on the choices that we make (I'm starting to sound like an afternoon special or something cheesey like that. I better stop while I'm ahead). So I guess even if I did have a soundtrack, it wouldn't really help me all that much. I'd still have to choice and no type of music is gonna change that. Bother! I was really trying to get rid of that responsibility...but I am taking suggestions for my life soundtrack, even if it won't help make my decisions...so, I'm open for suggestions, let me know what you all think and if it's good, I'll burn copies for all those who contribute.

Those are some dang good songs - will you do a soundtrack for my life too? That would be the COOLEST profession in the world - you could just follow people around for a week and make them a soundtrack. I'd hire you.
"Beautiful Soul" for the mantage where you and the "Better Together" boy are playing, laughing, running, jumping, watching movies, etc. :) That will be a good mantage.
