Unintentionally, I spend a significant amount of my time day dreaming. As much as I love the past, it is most of often the future which occupies my free thinking time. I wonder about what my life will be, how my plans will change and who I will meet. Due to my penchant for day dreaming and my imagination, I've come up with a few things that I want to be an integral part of my life. Here are some of them:

Lazy twilight conversation on the front porch during the spring

        Running through the sprinklers with tiny people who are giggling uncontrollably

Sunday drives in the fall leaves, holding hands with someone I love

        

         Flour fights while making my mom's cinnamon rolls

Entire days spent reading deliciously good books

Straightening someone special's tie on our way to the ballet

Fall afternoons spent watching football together

Surprise flowers

Getting to make very special dinners for people that I love

My own house with my own things

What do you day dream about?

Currently...

...I'd like nothing more than to be able to stick my feet deep into some warm California sand and listen to the waves hit the shore while a lovely ocean breeze ruffles my hair. 

(Too bad the only thing I have to look forward to this evening is a stack of lovely papers.)

I miss the ocean.
