...who drives with the windows down and the music on full blast. She talks too much, sleeps too little, and has a plethora of random thoughts to share. It will rarely have anything to do with anything, and will often mention chocolate chip cookies, so be warned. Don't be disappointed by the constant sarcasm or bad spelling, big words or historical references, the author enjoys all of the above. Oh and she really really really loves comments. Really.

My Crummy Cold...
So I've had this crummy cold. I hate having a cold. Anyone can have a cold. Just for once, I'd like to be able to say, 'Hey, I'm not feelin' so great, my leg is haunted.' (If you can name who actually said that, I'll make you a treat). Anyway, over the last week I've realized that I'm really lucky. I have had more people ask if they can do anything for me, go to the store and get me anything, take me anywhere than one could possibly imagine. When I get to work, Chantel asks me how I'm feeling. When I say, "Not so great." She sends me home. I am so blessed to have so many people who care about me and want to help me. So, thanks to all my loverly friends who take such good care of me. You guys are simply the best of the best!

Dear Cold of Mine...
I'm not too fond of the fact that you have decided to invade my lungs or my nose for that matter... You have given me a very sore throat and aided me in sounding like a teenage boy for the last few days. Please please go away. You really aren't welcome here. I have so much to do that your unwanted presence is really putting a damper on my week. You make it very hard for me to do my homework or to sleep at night. You've helped me to live on a steady diet of orange juice and cough drops, as well as the random soup my roommates make for me. You make my eyes burn and the feet cold. So if you would just please vacate my body, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
Sincerely, but not lovingly:
Mal

"Blush and Bashful..."

Pink. I won't lie, I think that it's the best color ever. I like lots of other colors: purple, blue, yellow, green (ohh! I love green!), but none of them come close to pink. Anyone who knows me knows that the color pink can make me happy faster then just about anything else (except maybe Dr. Pepper or Gilmore Girls...or maybe Hairspray..."Without love..."). If I could color the world pink, I would. Anyone who's ever seen Steele Magnolias can understand. I relate with Shelby very well, I love the part when Sally Fields tells Julia Roberts that the whole chapel looks like it's been draped in Peptobismal . I'm sure that people have thought the same thing while looking at my wardrobe. Pink is such a happy, cheerful color, it matches my personality so well, if I do say so myself. (Note to readers: This post was written while the author was had a severe cold and had taken quite a bit of Nyquil. Just thought you'd should be warned. )
