Tuesday Treat...

Oh hi! Happy Tuesday! Did you make it through Monday unscathed? I did, though my wallet did not. Blast that Ikea picture frame section. And blast my mother for buying me so many awesome pictures that need framing. (I know, I'm spoiled. I'll admit it freely. My mom is awesome.) Anyway, since I don't have any of my own wonderful words of wisdom for you on this lovely Tuesday (is it lovely where you are? It's lovely here, though pretty darn windy. But SO very warm. And how's a girl to complain about that? She's not. Especially when her feets are properly warm for the first time in months. My Special All Me Alone Space...

So friends... I have been needing to repaint my room for a very long time and the lovely gift of spring break given to me by none other than the University of Utah gave me time to actually do it! So here are a few pictures to demonstrate my mad decorating/painting skills. I still have to add a little paint to my closet and shelves, so pictures of the rest of my room are still to come. I know that you'll all will be waiting with baited breath, because I'm that big of a deal. You don't have to remind me. (And yes, I was definitely watching Bones when I took these pictures. Surprise? I think not.)

Ode to Spring...

Can I just say how excited I am for spring? I'm usually a fall/winter kind of girl. I love cloudy days and even more than that, I love snow, but as it's gotten warmer the last few days I keep getting more and more excited for spring to come around. The air has a special spring smell to it and I can wear short sleeved shirts without a coat. I CAN WEAR FLIP FLOPS!! Spring means that school is going to end and summer will come, a light at the end of the tunnel. Spring means that my birthday is coming (which is both a good and a bad thing). Spring means that the flowers will come back and the grass in front of my apartment will be green instead of brown. Spring means that we'll have Easter, which is one of my all time most favorite holidays. So in short, I am excited for spring...
