Dancing with myself...

So I love music. (What?! You didn't know this? Yeah, friendship over). Anyway, I finally bought an iPod, completing one of my New Years' Resolutions and I listen to it obsessively. Next to all my many books, it might be my most favorite possession. On Tuesday, I was at the Trax station on my way home from working at the Stadium. It was sunny and I didn't have to go back up to campus until Wednesday morning; I was fully rockin' out to Glee in celebration. I was taping my little feet right along to "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "Defying Gravity" because that's what I do to celebrate. Don't judge. As I'm engrossed in my musical world, I see this shady lookin' guy giving me a funny look. I realized that I was probably doing more than just foot taping, and was mouthing the words as well. I had this sudden vision of busting a move right there in front of my fellow commuters; much like Tom in (500) Days of Summer does to Hall & Oats "Makin' My Dreams Come True". I began to giggle just a little bit at the thought and then realized I probably looked like a crazy person. Good thing I don't care what other people think, right?

so maybe i was just jamming out to defying gravity after taking ryan to school. and singing it as i was running a few days ago (when singing and running is never an option for me--i gotta conserve my energy!). so really, i can't judge. because that's just how we roll.

Ha! Just one more reason why I love you. And really, what kind of a world do we live in if you can't rock out and sing along with Glee at the Trax station? Also--that scene in 500 Days of Summer? Love it. The movie might have made me cry (what doesn't) but it was amazing. The end.
